Malvern RFC Colt Ben Gaubert has had a good run of representative rugby this 2021-22 season; in October he captained Worcestershire U18s county side v Herefordshire and Greater Birmingham, from there the centre progressed into the all conquering North Mids U18s squad and played in their fixtures against the East Midlands, Warwickshire and Staffordshire with spells as captain during December & January.
With the next progression Ben was due to represent the Midlands in an England Divisional fixture v the North, which unfortunately was cancelled due to flooding from storms Eunice & Franklin. Ben did however manage to get his chance to represent the Midlands just a week later in a tight competitive game v London and the Southeast, and to top it all he also attended a two day residential England Camp for England Counties at Warwick School & University.
It has been a great experience for him, the coaching at all stages has been superb and very valuable for his development!
