A game of Two Halves….

Despite a positive start by Malvern, Veseyans scored twice in the first 10 minutes, one of which from the Veseyans winger who was a handful all afternoon.

With both try’s being converted, Malvern were on the back foot and struggled to get into the game, which resulted in a number of unforced errors, something we hadn’t seen in previous weeks.

Even when Malvern did get going, the Veseyans defence was strong and kept Malvern out of their 22.

Just before half time Veseyans following a number of well worked attacks scored again to make the half time score, Veseyans 21 - Malvern 0

After the break the Malvern were a completely different side and took the game to Veseyans and although Malvern conceded a 4th try it was very much against the run of play.

Malvern eventually scored themselves following a series of strong runs, which Ethan finished off in the corner after going around a couple of defenders.

Soon afterwards Jacob scored a well deserved try from close range and Max added a third, to make the final score 26-17, which was a fair result on the day, but left everyone thinking ‘if only we had started like we had finished’.

A special shout out to man of the match Otis, who was superb in both attack and defence.

Also to Jack P who played his first match for Malvern Colts and had several strong runs.

Well played everyone.
