It is with great sadness that we pass on the news that Bill Rickerby died just before the Christmas period. The club would like to extend our very best wishes to Sue and the rest of Bill’s family.
Bill was a great supporter of the club. He managed his very busy professional life as a barrister with initially playing and then supporting. Bill was very well liked and highly respected throughout the club. He was great company and many will recall his dry wit, but also his perceptive and always supportive advice.
Bill’s funeral will be held at Hereford Crematory at 2.15pm on Thursday 15th Jan, followed by a gathering at The Greenman, Fownhope from 3pm. Sue has kindly invited Bill’s old friends from Malvern RFC to join her and the family as we commemorate and celebrate Bill’s life.
